Who We Are
Our vision
We are passionate about inspiring the next generation to explore Christianity and this is at the heart of all we do. Established in 1988, we have an excellent track record of providing fun, engaging and educational activities to children across Maidstone, Medway and Swale and we are excited to build on this.

As we look to expand our reach, we are keen to facilitate greater links between local churches and schools strengthening relationships and providing increased opportunities for volunteers to serve
their community.

We want our activities to remain relevant to young people’s needs so we frequently review our projects to ensure we are responding to current issues such as the environment, wellbeing and equality.

Our ethos
The work of The Family Trust is to inspire the next generation to explore Christianity.

The work is Christ centred, motivated by the love, hope and salvation offered to all by Jesus,
therefore reflecting Jesus in our actions, conversations and work.
This enables us to keep the children and young people we serve in schools as our focus.

At the heart of the charity there is a vision for peaceful and harmonious communities,
fostering an environment where everyone can contribute and is: loved, valued and cared for equally.
We are open and honest with each other and with our beneficiaries. We don’t make promises we can’t keep and we stick to our principles.
We believe the children we work with deserve the very best. We pour our hearts and souls into everything we do.
We deliver high quality teaching about the Christian faith so that pupils can grow in their religious literacy and spiritual understanding.
The pupils we work with are the most important people to us. We consider them first in all that we do.
Our belief in Jesus Christ is central to our work. We commit everything we do to prayer and aim to treat people the same way Jesus did.
