Money Management Courses

Having successfully delivered CAP Money Kids since 2017, we launched CAP Money Youth in 2021. This course is suitable for those in Years 10 and 11 and consists of a one-hour session using resources prepared by Christians Against Poverty.

Our fully trained CAP Course Leader takes responsibility for leading the session and they are usually joined by one of our church volunteers or an additional staff member.

CAP Money Youth covers key financial skills for young people in readiness for moving into adulthood and becoming financially independent. Content includes topics such as budgeting, banking and the difference between ‘need’ and ‘want’. The session is interactive and dynamic using real life examples and stories to provoke thought and discussion.

Our team are also able to provide CAP Money Student which is tailored to those in Years 12 and 13, as well as other, bespoke money management courses for those in Key Stage 3.

We found the money course both informative and practical.
