A major part of our work is presenting Christian assemblies. It is a legal requirement
for schools to provide an act of worship each day; this can be a great opportunity for us to share what we believe as Christians.
The Family Trust teams take one assembly per term into the different schools with which we have contact.
Assembly Database
Over the years that The Family Trust has been going
into schools with our own assemblies, we have covered a wide range of themes to do with our Christian faith.
These have sometimes been one-offs; sometimes several are linked. They have had different
focuses: characters from the Bible; aspects of the Christian faith; seasons in the Church calendar; problems that we face,
PSHE issues.
We have built up resources that we would like to share.
These include assembly outlines, sketches,
song ideas, PowerPoints and prop ideas.
